This is a site was born out of the belief that the arts are invaluable to society. As part of education, health, entertainment and as a way to open discussion, the arts need to be funded properly.
Unfortunately, governments making policies in favour of big business have shown time and again that there interest is not in what is best for the communities and wider society, and so the arts can never be sufficiently funded in a profit hungry system.
The aim of this site is to promote art which questions and poses a challenge to issues of today, and show how artists and activists should work together to fight for real change.
